Daytime aurora boralis

During the continuous darkness of the polar night, you can see the more rare and subdued daytime aurora on Svalbard. On this 360×180 panorama you can see a time lapse of the aurora in the sky. This was photographed at midday December 15th and you can see the little light we have in the south. (The moving aurora does not work on most mobile devices. You need a flash capable browser.)
